Guest wishes to decrease number of guests, yet price goes up

Hi there, I'd love some help! 
Am new to Airbnb, and while all is going well thus far, I have an incoming guest who originaly booked for 3 adults and 2 children. However, she would like to change the official booking to 2 adults and 2 children and when she does so, the price goes up.

I do not charge for extra guests, so feel that there wouldn't be a huge point to amending the numbers as she would still be paying the same nightly rate.

Am I wrong here??!

If your guest is correct it sounds like one that Airbnb will need to resolve - give them a call. or if it is happening to your guest, they need to call them.

why don't you charge more for extra guests by the way. I would say the majority of hosts do. extra guests cost you more.

Hi Helen, Thanks for the reply, I'll let the guest know and see what she would like to do. Re charging for extra guests- I'll certainly consider that option!
