Guests changing who’s coming to stay

Hi wondering if anyone can help. I’ve had two bookings now where on the day of arrival the person that has booked after I’ve given them my address tells me they’ve messed up there flight details but there friend or in today’s case the ladies son will be coming to stay. The first time I accepted and the guest was a nightmare but this time I’ve said no I won’t accept a person coming that hasn’t made the reservation themselves.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
