Guests want to pay as a group but one added the wrong email address

My guest just tried to book for his party and they'd like to spllit payment equally among themselves. He onfirmed that he used the wrong address for his friend and is asking me to change it - there doesn't seem to be any additional detail on how this works and I really don't want to manage the payment part of this with a guest's private information, can someone help? Should he just cancel the reservation and rebook? If not, what directions can I provide him? Thank you!
