How do I manage separate bookings for 2 bedrooms?

So many people seem to have this problem but I cannot believe I must create 3 different listings for all the possibilities: 1 listing for bedroom no.1, 1 listing for bedroom no.2 and 1 listing for bedrooms no.1 and 2 together. What a hassle! Please help. Thank you.
