How much should I reimburse?

Hi all, wonder if anyone could help. We had 6 guests in for 2 nights, on the 2nd night, the shower broke but they had a bath so facilities still to wash, just not a shower (on a seperate circuit). I spoke to them, they were great but as a Saturday night, couldn't get the electrician out in time. I said I would offer a partial reimbursement for their troubles. My question is, how much? They paid £400 for 2 nights for 6 people. Many thanks, Natalie.

@Natalie234  It is always difficult to judge how much to value a missing amenity so perhaps the approach is more about the offer and gesture that you recognize the hiccup.  Maybe you could relate to how  much should a blouse be discounted if there is a missing button to make you a happy customer 😄 - 5%, 10%, 25%...?   BTW, I realize that only another woman would understand this train of thought, right?

Thanks Linda and yes, you are right, I totally understand your train of though lol. I have reimbursed a £100 so roughly 25% which I felt was acceptable. Many thanks again, Natalie.
