I started this activity this year in May.
So far, nothing negative has happened to me. I have my ad in addition to being on Airbnb, two other sites and myself, I periodically publish my ad on Facebbok, Twitter and Instagram, sharing in these social networks, which the general public sees, The "public" option). Most of my guests come from Airbnb and I prefer it because there is more security because Airbnb makes the necessary verification and I get more rested.
So far, I have had good reviews, which means that my guests are happy with their stay when they leave.
I have taken into account the tips that Airbnb is giving. For example, I had not yet remembered the bathrobe; When I saw this tip and went to buy soon and they use it, especially in winter, it gives better way, after the shower.
I know that now is a time of less tourism, because it is cooler, but even then, there is one or the other that "escapes" from the cold of the Nordic countries, where it is snowing or falling frost, to come and catch the Algarve sun (Faro), which in the morning has been good tempretauras (16/17 degrees positive) and the sun is still hot and they are satisfied.
We will see the future what awaits me, with new government laws, etc.

Thank you for your words, in relation to what I wrote and in relation to my lodging.

Regarding government laws, it has to do with the tax increase from 2017 on this activity, which will be more than double what we pay now.

In Portugal there is an association that defends our rights and will fight so that, if there is an increase, it is not the way it is planned.
Let's see if they can get the government not to increase as I said it would.
