I need help to register an apartment in Portugal for listing. Please can someone assist me?

I have an apartment to put up for listing in Lisbon but I am having difficulty registering it before being posted for listing. Please help. Thanks.

Me too.

I have emailed the City Hall in Madeira for help but they don't reply.

I have to give a tax ID before the site airbnb computer will let me list.

Clearly I don't have a Portuguese one (I am resident in the UK) as I only want to rent out my timeshare for 2 weeks this year only.

Anyione else in this position?

Sounds like a lot of hassle to go through to rent something out for a couple of weeks a year to be honest.

Does the tax ID come from their local government then, rather than their tax office.

If they haven't replied, sounds like you will need to give them a call.

Thanks for your reply. You're absolutely right, it's a lot of hassle. 😞

I've tried calling City Hall and it's like pulling teeth...one dept to another.  If there's no easier way to do this and no-one on here who has resolved a similar problem, I'll try Facebook (Friends) and see how I get on there.  A small audience but hey, life's short eh?
