My card expired before the second half is payed

Hi,

My card expired on 31 June 2018 and my second half of the payment is scheduled for 22 July. Today (19 July) I added new payment method with my renewed card (the same number, the same security code, only the expire date is 2021). I'm not sure will the payment on 22 July will be successfuly completed or the system will look for my old card which I no longer see in payment methods?

My second question is, is there any chance I can pay now and not wait untill 22 July? I'm looking for "Pay second half now" option.

Hello @Marin33,

What should happen is that Airbnb will try to get the payment from the old card, it will be denied and you will be asked to pay with a different method.

There is no "Pay second half now" option. Airbnb completely controls the payment times, guests use the site to pay early.

You should contact them if you wish to pay early. They may accept it.

Type "contact airbnb" in the "Search the community" box on these forum pages where you posted your question. Scroll down a little in the list of suggestions that appears and click on the "Contact Airbnb: A Community Help Guide[UPDATED]" one. That lists phone numbers and ways to contact them via Twitter or Facebook.
