My lowered pricing for last minute bookings is not showing in search results?

Hello out there..

I have just received a booking request but showing a lower nightly rate than what I have set. Why?? This is not the first time this has happened. Very frustrating when can't seek direct help from Airbnb to sort this. I don't think I should wear incorrect pricing.

Can anyone help me rectify please. Graham

@Graham15, look under Price Settings when you go to your calendar. Is Smart Pricing on? Set it to off. 

Hopefully that's it.

Update, @Graham15. Another host is having a problem with this today and says Smart Pricing is not on for them and yet the same thing is happening. Do check, but then see whether you can go to your calendar and set the correct price right there by clicking on a date and changing the price in the popup. If that doesn't work, you may have to call AirBnB.

As of 1st October 2016 I increased my price. Yes have smart pricing on and changed minimum to new price. Have had 2 booking at correct rate already. It was a challenge to change price setting as defaulted to a lesse amount eventually after about 6 goes got it sorted.

I have had this proble a couple of times since I started my listing. Think may time call Airbnb. I agree I think having smart pricing on screws things up.

I have turned off instant booking as 2 guests were able to book rooms way under my usual rate.

And don’t get me started on smart pricing.  Why does air B&B try to drive our prices down instead of helping us make more?
