PAYOUT DELAY

PAYOUT DELAY

My guest checked in on Sept 24, 2016 and out on Oct 4, 2016 but the payment is still pending. Who do I need to contact to get assistance with this.

So on your transaction history page, you click through to the "Future Transactions" tab and is it still listed there vs. being in the "Completed Transactions" tab?  That would be a problem and you need to contact Airbnb. Search for the help guide.

However if it is in your "Completed Transactions" your payout will be based on the method of payment which could be up to 7 business days and you are only at day 4 now :

Processing time

After Airbnb releases the payout, it takes some additional time for the money to get to you. The average processing time for each payout method is:

  • ACH / Direct deposit: Up to 3 business days
  • Bank transfer or international wire: 3–7 business days
  • PayPal: Within 1 business day
  • Western Union: 1 business day (US Pacific Time)
  • Payoneer Prepaid Debit Card: Within 1 business day

Worked for me too!  (After 24 days of trying other things).  Thanks for posting this!

Answer is twitter@airbnbhelp.  I had same issue, over a month I telephone call centre dozen, but no one responded.

Then I logged on twitter and sent brief line about pending payout. Within a day I received message asking to send details via DM (direct message to airbnb on twitter) then got response quite soon from a person who actually deals with payout with apology and payment was sorted.

It just happened this week. Please try.

Okay kids.  I got it resolved, finally!!!!!!!!  My payout was 24 days late.

1.  Calling the 800 number got me nowhere.

2.  Posting on Twitter got me nowhere.

3.  Calling my local number on (http://all-about-airbnb.com/post/138799279996/airbnb-support-resources-local-phone-numbers-and-email...) got me to "Angela" who was HORRIFIED that I was in the situation I was in.  Although it was Thanksgiving eve and nobody in the "claims department" was in to respond to her internal IMs that she sent, she personally dug and dug until she managed to release the payment.  She could give me no explanation.

I did mention (and maybe this helped) that I wasn't the only one in this situation, that there are a dozen or more people in the forums complaining that they're in this situation, that delaying payment violates Airbnb's terms of service, and that The Company (Airbnb) may have a pretty big problem on its hands if all these people decided to get together.

Anyway - I feel like it took finding a person with a soul to actually give a hoot for this to be instantly resolved.  Thank you Angela, and hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.  You have earned MY thanks!

This is my first to host a guest thru Airbnb and he checked in on 28th Nov, its been 9 days since, yet I have not received my payment from Airbnb, nor an email notification that payment has been released, so at least I would know if its pending on the bank transfer or if its something else

I changed my default bank from one in the US to one in Ecuador where the property is located. For one of my guests, AirBnB claimed that it sent the money to Ecuador but it never made it to my account. When I called customer care they took their time to get me a machine-readable printout from their payments processor claiming that the money was sent. The only thing I could understand on that page was my account and the SWIFT code from my bank. AirBnB asked me to take the printout to my bank and the bank will be bale to track the funds. Problem is that I am travelling and can't go to the bank. After a few tries I was able to talk to my bank's cutomer rep, who said that for some reason he could not say my account had been blocked and the money was sent back.

I have conveyed this information back to AirBnB but haven't recieved so much as an acknowledgement of my e-mail.

I have changed payout method from PAYPAL to direct transfer to bank account and for the first time in 4 years my guests left and I still haven't received payout. I don't know who to contact.

When it's bank transfer don't we receive any message about payout being made as we do with PAYPAL?

I'm in the dark 🙂

Even considering holiday season it sounds late.  Have you checked your airbnb account? Is the Payout scheduled to be paid, or pending? If pending, you need to call their support number, in Australia 02-8520-3333, or use Twitter@Airbnbhelp. In my case, payout issues were solved with Twitter.  Hope you get paid soon.

My payment was sent on November 20th 2016 and I still haven't received it.

I posted about it on AirBnB's FB page and was quickly asked to send a DM to their twitter account @AirBnBHelp which I did and recieved a prompt response that one of their reps will contact me ... except he didn't.

So I sent another reminder to @AirBnBHelp and that's when someone by the name of Aaron sent a very polite e-mail on Dec 17 2016 saying that he is the " ...Customer Experience Specialist with Airbnb." and "Please know that your case has been escalated to a department that can better assist you. A case manager is currently looking into this and will email you as soon as they have an update.

On December 26th I wrote back to Aaron requesting a status and, you guessed it, I haven't heard from him yet.

The point of my writing all this is that even a good company like AirBnB can have unresponsive and untrained customer support reps who can only solve basic problems but do not know how or when to escalate the problem to the next level. So they give you the runaround.

In my case the money was sent to a foreign bank through AirBnB's payments processor which if I am correct is also located in a foreign country (UK). So there are a whole lot of low-level support people involved: the customer service reps at AirBnB, the reps in AirBnB's payouts department, the reps in the processing bank which is in the UK and then the reps in Ecuador where I have an account. Since then I have moved by default account back to the US and have received the money for my subsequent reservations with 3-5 days. But I am still waiting for the $571 that AirBnB owes me.

The right thing for AirBnB to do would be to swallow the bitter pill and say okay the money that you did not receive is OUR money, we lost it and we'll find it. In  the meantime, here's your money sent through a more reliable carrier such as Western Union or Paypal.

As for me, if my issue is not resolved soon, I am going to go back and start bugging AirBnB on their FB page and their twitter account.

How the timely payment is guaranteed for Cuban hosts? How Airbnb ensure that their local agent in Cuba will bring me my money instead of taking the first raft and going to Miami? What is the procedure for claiming the payment? I was supposed to get paid on Dec. 28th, “taking into consideration” the holidays, as they notified me,  but 9 days later I am still waiting for it…

Anyone else experiencing a huge delay in receiving payouts from Airbnb.. I have been waiting for 2 weeks now since my guests checked out!

Payout emails recieved from Airbnb but no payment received. The account details is still the same as when I used Airbnb a few months ago. My Bank in South Africa also confirmed that there are no pending transfers into my account.

Had a call from David at Airbnb a few days ago to say that someone from their Payout department will contact me... no contact made.... 😞

Not good. Not good at all.

My payout is held up and there is no response from airbnb,
is there any tel number I can call to find out whats going on?

Please advise.

Thank you.
