Hi all.  We are Airbnb newbies,  have survived 4 months and have been so lucky to have achieved super host thanks to our great guests so far.  BUT,  we seem to have hit a wall,  our last 3 guests haven’t left a review.  Any ideas on how to encourage guests to leave reviews??  I am hesitant about appearing pushy by directly asking the guests to leave a review but it seems really important to keep up the review process.   We do accept instant bookings and I have noted that the guests with no reviews seem to be those that don’t review our Airbnb.   However,  instant booking has worked well for us so far in all aspects apart from this.    Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks!!

@Sharon-And-Deane0 @Just send a follow up message to say thanks for staying and if they enjoyed their stay then please take the opportunity to leave a review. Bear a few things in mind / AirBnB have changed the review requirements to make it easier to retain super host status - however in our experience super host was meaningless as we had 99.9% positive reviews (except on location). Prompting guests who haven't immediately jumped at the opportunity to leave a review 'could' (?) mean they thought it was fine but nothing to get that excited about. Across all review platforms reviewers break into two broad categories: those for whom the a commodation(and overall trip) was fantastic - and those who didn't really enjoy it that much (even though your property had nothing to do with that). I'd go use on going the extra mile and let that be the prompt for guests to give a big thumbs up. We started giving a small local gift (chocolates or jar of preserve) as a thank you - and if works wonders

Thanks Gerry and Rashid!  It can be a bit daunting at the start.   So saying,  really enjoying this so far.   It’s great being able to have an input from other Airbnbers with experience.   Cheers from NZ
