hello,

we just had our first guest and they were lovely.  I left a review for them and now waiting for their review.  They had said they would be submitting a review (but they are on the road alot).  I read that there is a 14 day deadline.  Is it 14 days after checkout or 14 days from the start of the airbnb stay?

The review clock starts at the time of the booking check out date.  If the guest misses the 14 days, your review will be published 14 days after their check out.  If they write a review, your review and theirs will be immediately published.

what if they never write a review, does her's show or do BOTH have to review for hers to show

Have you written yours? Since they can't see yours til they write their's they may do it just out of curiosity. The traveler's review template is more involved than ours, so they might just be waiting til they have time to do it.  You could send them a quick note about how your very first hosting experience was with such great guests...

Good luck! It's really fun, especially if you're getting to interact with your guests. I'm still friends with many of my past guests.
