Revise the price on a pending reservation

Good Evening,

I am trying to revise the price on a pending reservation , help says to go to inbox, select request and select "special offer" i cant see special offer anywhere, can anybody help please? Thak You Chris

If there is a reservation request, you can not sent a special offer to same guest.

Options:

- accept the request and change the reservation afterwards to the correct price (message the guest first about this for agreement)

- message the guest to withdraw the request, probably the special offer button will show up. Otherwise the guest has to sent an INQUIRY (via "contact host" on the listing)

Come on Airbnb get your act together.   Decline or Accept is pathetic why not have a Revised Reservation Offer  that  would allow us to change dates or prices for a reservation - this is so much better than just to Decline a booking and you will never persuade a host to Accept a booking that's slight wrong - it would also give us the opportunity to offer a different weekend if that's whats available. Homeaway do exactly this and then I can send out a Revised Reservation Offer and I have received quite a few bookings that way. To use a Special offer to change dates etc is just stupid as it's rarely a special offer as the guest expects like a cheaper price.  
Special offers have their place but  are useless when trying to revise a booking as there is no breakdown to show what we will get after your fees so are totally useless and untrustworthy anyway it's not a special offer this is different its a Revised Reservation Offer.
