Security Deposit

If I host and require a security deposit. Why doesn't it show on a reservation request.

Security deposits are not charged to the guest's credit card unless you make a claim for damages which you must do within 48 hours after check out.  Airbnb simply puts a "hold" on the credit card account. See: https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/140/how-does-airbnb-handle-security-deposits
