Hello everyone,
(and sorry for my bad english)
I am host on airbnb and currently rent a room in my apartment. I often travel with Airbnb
in a private room and / or as a whole.
This year I went to Spain, and I had the nasty surprise of having a private room in an apartment
with other private rooms.
When I choose a host, I decide to trust him for my trip, my stuff, etc ...
But not in another group of people who live with me in the apartment. I felt immediately
"scammed" and I would like to know if this practice is normal or if in your opinion should
not create a special section for this type of accommodation, like "shared house?".
As a host I do not see myself offering a second room to other travelers.
When you rent a room, there is certainly a pecuniary side, but there is also a side of sharing,
and I choose my travelers as my hosts according to their profile, and when it is finally a
"housing Shared "I do not choose my roommates, which alters the sharing side of the Airbnb experience.
I only remember the pecuniary side.
Thank you for your help and your patience !
