Situation changed: I’m now not available to host

My boss has changed my leave so I’m now going to be away for the week I accepted an AirBnB booking night. What should I do? Can I cancel the booking? What is the charge?

If you want to host in the future, I strongly advise you not to cancel.  Rent an airbnb for the period perhaps. That is what I have done in a similar situation.

@Julie735 It will severely impact your new listing for your first review to be a cancellation.  Is there a friend that could stand in for you during the booking?  I don't know if your reason for needing to cancel would qualify as an extenuating circumstance but you could speak with an Air BNB rep to see what could be done.  Here is a guide for contacting Air BNB.
