Taxes. Acting as agent

Taxes. Acting as agent

Hello I have a property of a client of me and want to rent it out for him. I need to add my bank details and any bookings that I will have I will need to sent him the money and keep a small commission for me. So the question is what is happening with the tax. Am base in Cyprus. For example if I earned in my bank account 1000 Eur and keep 100 eur as commission and sent the 900 Eur to my client what will be happend with the tax and who will paid it? The tax department will see that I had an income of 1000 Eur? Then they will charge me extra 20%. ?Please advice.

No you should have the host set up the listing and add you as co-host. @WinWin-Estates0

That would be the ethical thing to do and would be in your clients best interests.

He can then pay you, your fee through the platform and you can show this to the tax man when assessing your taxable income.
