Just got this in an email:

Subject: Tomorrow: Meeting to discuss proposed changes to San Antonio STR Ordinance

Dear San Antonio short-term rental property owners and managers,

As you may know, the City of San Antonio is in the process of considering new short-term rental regulations. The City is holding a public meeting Tomorrow, Saturday June 9 at 9:00 am to discuss the most recent amendments to the current draft-short term rental ordinance.

The amendments being presented and discussed at this meeting improve on the previous draft by removing the special exception requirement for non-owner occupied homes, streamlining the application process, and lowering registration fees.

We encourage you to attend this meeting and present your opinions if you are able. The City will take public feedback that will be presented to the City Council at their next meeting.

Tomorrow's meeting will take place at the following location:

Board Room

Development Services Department

1901 S Alamo Street

San Antonio, TX 78204

The City Council has most likely made up their minds on what they will do positive or negative.  Doesn't matter what the public says. This has been demonstrated throughout this year with this council on several actions to include monument removal and RNC conventions.
