This is probably a dumb question - i would like my wife to have access to the airbnb mobil app so we both get the reservation requests and calendaring etc. is this possible?

Yes. Just recenlty this was made possible. Go to your listing and click on add host. She will get an email to accept the request. We had some trouble doing it, but had success when my husband locked into his airbnb account that we had been using just as guests. Hope this helps and good luck.
