Where do I find how much my guest has paid AirBnb in total?

I want to know the total amount that my guests are paying AirBnb, including the AirBnb commission. (Not just the Service Fee that AirBnb charges me.) This information is given by other booking sites in their payout details, but AirBnb don't provide this and I haven't managed to find where it is. I want to find the actual total paid per guest - not just a vague indication of a percentage. Can anyone tell me?

Hello @Suzanna9,

There isn't a direct way to see how much a guest has paid for a confirmed reservation.

If a listing has the same price for each day, like yours seem to have, then there's a way you can calculate how much a guest pays.

Say you want to know how much a guest has paid for a 4 day stay. Go to your calendar and find a four day period of free days at the same price as the guest's days. Click on the first free date and drag its right hand side little "III" tag to the right until you've selected 4 days. You can also select the 4 days by filling in the start and end date boxes.

Then scroll down in the window on the right until you see the "What do guests pay" link and click on it.

That'll how a box like below.

It's a hack and works only if you can find a range of free dates that have the same price as the guest's dates.

Steve.

This is exactly the answer, which I just discovered too! I wish this was the selected answer so it would appear on the first page.

You can see what the guest pays in the email that airbnb sends you.  The number in red is what the guest pays.

Thank you!

The only e-mails I have where this is included are the rare replies to booking inquiries, presumably to allow me to bargain.  Even there it is only an estimate.  As far as I know, I have no way to get this basic information.

Refer to Katie449's solution above. It is quick and accurate.

I have a Question if you please can help me, I’m new to Airbnb and when i did an account they didn’t ask me about my bank details, Now my apartment is booked i want to know how the Guest will pay for their stay?? Please answer me as soon as possible

I've been on airbnb for about 2 years now and i'm still trying to undertand the ins and outs of payment details.  A guest just recently asked for a price reduction to a set amount.  I ended up guessing how much to charge them and it came out close but I lost a little money in the guessing which is annoying.  Airbnb, we love you, please help us fix this flaw in your system: WE NEED TO SEE WHAT YOU ARE CHARGING OUR GUESTS!  thankyou, Bart (owner of 5 dedicated bnb properties)

I find this very frustrating.  I just want to know what the guest is paying so I can judge for myself what kind of value they are getting.  Either the booking platform (airbnb or otherwise) is offering hosts and guests enough value for their collective payout, or they are not.  I am of the opinion so far that airbnb offers me enough value to justify the fees they earn during a transaction between myself and a guest.  I also feel that in order to fulfill my part of the equation I need to know what the guest is paying, and  I encourage airbnb to be transparent in this.

A couple months ago I had the opportunity to work with local people, but it was such a hassle not having the guests see and agree to house rules and so much info, I decided to not deal with the local people.  Told them that Airbnb was worth every penny.

IMMEDIATELY everything started to suck!   Payouts NOT going out, support being AWFUL,  my cell no longer gets texts and they can NOT fix it and today I called 4 times because a Chilean family had trouble making the payment -- for a booking TOMORROW.

I called FOUR times, could NOT get a number where they could talk to someone in Spanish.   They sent them a # in Chile, which they don't want to call from their American phone.

A "normal" business would have simply offered to have a Spanish speaking CSR call them, but NOT Airbnb.    In the last call, I was told to give them the number I called.   But if you don't speak English, how do you get to a person with that automated hell you have to go through every time?

I finally did TRY to send them that number, but Airbnb stripped out their own phone number.

I gave up.

And I'm getting close to giving up on Airbnb.

I was gong to do my own advertising and offer specials to "locals" in Las Vegas to get out of the city, but without knowing what Airbnb charges the guests, how can I advertise 2 or 3 day off season specials?

Airbnb is turning into Wal-Mart!  Time to look at alternatives.

I don't think it's too much to ask AirBnB to show us the complete breakdown. I need to know what taxes AirBnB pays on my behalf and I can't find anything anywhere about that. They say they now pay "hospitality" taxes, but they always did pay "hospitality" taxes. I THINK the new change is that they actually pay my state's mandatory GRT (gross receipts tax). BUT there is no way for me to actually see it to make sure that I don't have to collect it from the guests, like I always did before.

This is extremely SKETCHY, but what do I expect from corporate America?

To find total paid by guest, click on reservation Details, scroll to bottom to find Change Reservation and select. From there, click Change price and it will display total paid by guest.

I use the Special Offer feature to calculate that. It's perfect.  On the Airbnb app, I pretend to send a special offer to the guest, then I just type in amounts by trial & error until I reach the amount I make. Then I know what the guest paid. what-guest-paid.jpg
