What does it mean when this appears in the comment: "The host Canceled this booking x days before arrival. This is an automated posting."

Is this a warning sign that I should not book with this host?

This is no longer the case.  Airbnb no longer posts any system-generated review noting the host cancellation.   Airbnb customers no longer have access to information about how often a property's host has cancellation a reservation prior to arrival, nor how many days prior to arrival the host has cancelled any reservations.  Regressive terrible anti-customer service step backwards.
