booked apt for a week. Host only provided the street but no address

We have a trip coming up in a week to Barcelona and Paris and after looking over our itinerary we noticed that our host in Paris has provided us with our address but in Barcelona we only recieved a street. We have tried to contact host but have yet to hear back. Starting to get a little nervous due to lack of communication and lack of physical address.  Should we look for an alternative?

@Abigail103 how much time has passed without responce from the host? You should get the exact address immediately after booking, maybe wait a bit more then contact Airbnb and they will try to get in touch with him.

Thanks Ana.  We booked the room back at the beginning of March, and just reached back out to them this morning. We have also reached out to Airbnb and they were very helpful and reassuring. Thanks for your response!

@Abigail103

Ring the phone number on your booking confirmation and have a chat with customer service, if the can't contact the host airbnb will try to find you an alternative.

The link below has alternative ways to contact airbnb

@Abigail103   You say you just contacted the host this morning and they haven't replied- are you aware that there is a time difference and that it would be the middle of the night there and the host is most likely asleep? There's no reason to panic just because you don't get a response immediately. Even without a time difference, hosts can be at work, busy, out of internet range, or whatever when a guest tries to contact them- have a little patience, it isn't reasonable to expect that you'll get an instant response.

Of course, if a day or two goes by with no response, that is cause for concern, and as you did, contacting Airbnb usually works for them to make contact with the host. I've had to do that myself for guests who didn't answer my messages for days.
