Hi ,

Can any one help me with a suggestion, 

I need a large place for up to 8 people to stay late January which looks like a log cabin or traditional 

alpine lodge, snow outside, with an open fire etc etc .. Ideally in Europe but can travel further for the right place.

One caveat is that it cannot be too far fro an International airport ideally no more that 90 minute drive. 

Any suggestions gratefully received .

Are you having trouble with the filters, @Maggie-Peter0? I expect there is no filter for "log cabin" or "alpine lodge", but you can, in a way, make one yourself. Do it with google. Instead of starting with the Airbnb site for the search, start with google, but make "Airbnb" one of your search terms. So you will want to type something like:

Airbnb lodge cabin europe snow

See what comes up and go from there. Refine it, if you need. You will have to determine for yourself how far each is from an international airport. Bit of work, but it will be worth it to get the perfect spot.

There are so many places that fit this remit in the ski resorts in Scotland, France, Italy, Austria to name but a few or look at one of the many companies offering ski holidays in Europe.

I would suggest you just put key words into Google and see what comes up.
