A returning guest asked if she could stay for a period shorter than my minimum night stay. I agreed, sent her a special offer (via my mobile device) and when it went it was for 50% less the usual nightly rate. I did not see where I would input the rate so I assumed it would apply the regular nightly rate. She now wants to add another night stay. How can I fix this ?
Hi when you are sending special offer you should have option to write the rate you want. It will be rate for the dates you specify in the offer. Have in mind that this rate is for all days together. Unfortunatelly I don't think you can change the reservation yourself you can send request to change reservation to your guest and explain what happened and if they accept great, problem solved. You can also add extra day there.
The guest has offered to pay the difference when she arrives, but now that she has added another day, I would just prefer to re do the entire booking so that everything is straight.
Go to Change Reservation. Enter the correct dates. Enter the correct amount of money. If you can't figure it out, call Airbnb Support and they will help you do this. Keep all payments through Airbnb, regardless of what the guest tells you they want to do. Then the Airbnb Support team can back you up better if anything goes wrong.
