Blocked dates after not approving within 24 hours

Hello!

It seems Airbnb has a rather bitchy than smart thing going: If you don't approve a request within 24 hours, the requested dates get blocked for one week.

So a guest requested my place, I did not get to approve the (possible) dates within 24 hours, and now I can't accept him.

He wants my place, I want to give it to him, and Airbnb won't let us do that for another six days.

Is there a way to go around that?

And is there a simple support email adress provided by Airbnb?

@Stefan30 Airbnb geht dann wohl davon aus, dass Du für den angefragten Zeitraum keine Buchung wünschst. Vielleicht gar nicht so bitchy oder wie lange möchtest Du warten, wenn Du eine Reise planst?
