I think Airbnb offices need to be better equipped to deal with community engagement and local issues that host's face everyday. There is an office in Toronto, but I have found that it is difficult to discuss issues that hosts are facing with the staff there because they are quite busy and limitied with regards to how much they can interact one-on-one. There are a lot of "meetups" for new hosts however there are not many outlets for more seasoned hosts to bring forth the issues that are being faced with regards to city by-laws, local festivals, etc.
Some hosts have attempted to create their own group to help tackle everyday hosting issues, however when they tried reaching out to Airbnb staff in Toronto, they were denied because it was not an offical Airbnb platform.
