Desktop notification

I find the notifications from the AirBnb mobile app very useful. But I spend most of my day at my PC (doing other work), I really need desktop notifications. FB, LinkedIn and Twitter are able to notify about activity without running specific applications, perhaps AirBnb could take a look at these? I would, however, install a specific AirBnb desktop app in order to achieve this.

Would anyone else like desktop notifications for AirBnb hosting?

I use my PC too for 99% of my interactivity with Airbnb but I also use webmail and, thus, all notifications are delivered to my inbox. Maybe this rather old school but it works.

Thanks for your input @Martin0, I also have notifications sent to my email, however, with several email accounts and 1000s of emails arriving a day, I would be grateful for AirBnB to supply an equivalent desktop alert to their mobile alerts, i.e. one that gets my attention, not just an unread email.

Point taken. I have several email addresses, each dedicated to a different account and allocated to a different listings agency. I don't get 1000's of emails a day but more in three figures!
