Airbnb is wonderful. It is user friendly and hassel free. I love it. When I had an issue, it responded very fast and I could correct things.
The only problem, that I face is with pre-approval. When a guest contacts me and we exchange notes, I am not able to pre-approve because they questions they ask doesn't allow me to accept them.
For example:
On the request, they add 2 people and in their message they say 10 people coming. I tell them to add the exact number and I would pre-approve them. They do not come back. Now if I pre-approve them, they pay for 2 and come with 10 numbers? What would I do? I can't accept this.
They message asking for my phone number so they can directly get in touch with me. I explain to them that it doesn't work this way. Whatever questions they may have, they can ask me through messages. They do not get back to me. I take it that they are not serious. Do I pre-approve them?
After we have exchange messages, I receive a reminder from Airbnb to pre-approve them but I am not able to tell why I am not pre-approving.
Is there any way that we can inform?
Though I have given all information on Airbnb about our place, people still ask many questions. I do not mind and tell them all they want to know. When they are satisfied, and followed all procedures, I pre-approve them.
If something can be done on this issue, it would be nice.
