I rent out two rooms, one with a nice king size bed and one with a mattress on the floor. When I turn on smart pricing, the room with the king size bed is cheaper than the room with the mattress on the floor. Not so smart.
How can an algorythm be smarter than the host who knows his neighborhood and checks on his competition? Lowering price is a race to the bottom. Taking advice from a computer....
