ATV's and Kayaks and liability

We have river front property and have told guests that they can use THEIR OWN ATV's, Kayaks, and fishing equipment.  What if they get hurt while doing one of these activities or anything else on our property?  What should we do to protect ourselves?  Thank you!

I would think that if the guest is using their own equipment that your liability would be lower. However, you may still be liable for injuries that occur on your property. For protectuon you should have a short term guest policy. This is completely different from normal homeowner's or landlord's insurance, neither of which will cover you in the event of an accident from a short term guest.
