I am currently on the phone with Airbnb as we speak, have the headset on. I have lost all patience with Airbnb and decided to open my arbitration claim against them today. I am on phone with rep, and instead of opening claim, she asks over and over 'Which guest is this claim for?" Each time I tell her: "This is not about a specific guest or reservation. This is about many many reservations and instances where Airbnb has dropped the ball, behaved unethically or outright lied. My arbitration claim is not against a guest, it's against Airbnb."
She then tells me each time 'She understands. Now which guest is the claim against?" like she didn't just have the above listed conversation with me.
@ Lizzie (since I can't actually tag you)
Probably you want to weight in here and say something flowery about how honest a company you are and how everything leading up to this situation and the situation here are all misunderstandings right? RIGHT????!!!!
When gigantic powerful company banking BILLIONS OF DOLLARS A YEAR says you can't sue them AND you can't open arbitration claim they promise...
Brian Chesky, is there any bar low enough that you don't slink right under?
