Airbnb support doesn't help

Airbnb is stealing money from host!  

 

They won’t have a supervisor call you when for two weeks they say they will. 


Airbnb can’t be trusted by host!

We did get a quick response from support when we were not paid for a guest, despite being paid for guests before and after.

However, when I repeated my request for help replies were mixed up or hidden by a message that I had made this request before.

When we did get a specialist who appeared to understand and referred us to finance, the final message virtually told us to add a payout method which we do not want to do. So now a month later we still have not been paid. Our bank has not received the money.

We can not continue to operate without even covering outgoing expenses.

Same here. The AirBnB are now major liars! The SC is horrible! Just keeps ignoring and denying that we have not been paid! I REALLY want to scream! 

We've had three Airbnb Support tickets open for 9 days with no response. Gosh, we even have some from a year ago where Airbnb never responded. 

 

We have a very short rental season, about 3-4 months, so waiting around for weeks to get some help is ridiculous.  Airbnb is great to put pages and pages and pages of contract terms, often with stifling rules for the hosts, but, in our experience, they don't follow through with support. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Yup, same here. And they keep lying to us! And now an open case with zero follow ups! Horrible!!. I will cut with this horrible AirBnB once and for all once my last guest leaves. And I will tell EVERYONE I know to stay the HELLLL away from this BS called AirBnB. Too bad I was a 5 star guest and a 5 star host.

Yes, I've noticed recently that AirBnB is very bad on communication when you put a claim in for damage done by guests,

My listing had the bad experience of being used for an 18th Birthday party with the resulting damage and mess one would expect from an event attended by more than 50 young people. I am very distressed at the lack of assistance and I haven't even been given a support person after 6 weeks. Emails just come unsigned from the resolution Team

 

Hi, i am having the same issues!!!! They have stolen / illegally retained money from my account and it has been 8 days since i tried to talk to someone and no one answers all i get is the run around and nothing else and the person on customer support only say be patient we are working on it and when i said I didn’t have more patience…. She hung up on me….. how was your issue solved …. Cause I have been told to sue in small claims court….

Also I have the same problem. At this point it feels like Airbnb is stealing from me. They are not helping me out at all, I have been sending all kinds of proof, that I did not receive anything from them, and they keep on telling me that they have paid me almost $4000,- on a bank account that is not mine, and this quest was supposed to come in November. Why did they pay me, normally Airbnb pays you within 24 hours after your quest arrives.

My guest has checked in one month ago and I still havent been paid . Ive communicated with 5 different reps at airbnb and they admit to erroneous accounting  with no explanation .  They said the payment will now be processed but that was over a week ago and still no sign of  my money. These people are either highly incompetent /negligent or simply thieves . I've contacted a big law firm here in L.A. to commence a litigation suit .

Hello Jenny my name is Randy ** the host and Airbnb refuse to give money back to me for a reservation I pre paid 7/11 til 7/28 for a total of 17 days i was physically assaulted by the host on 7/11/23 and I called police and left the list I NEVER CHECK IN AND Airbnb paid her the next day full reservation fee that NO BODY STAYED AT 1,300$ worth of damage. That’s crazy Airbnb owes me my fund but refuses to do the right thing I wish the cowards would just say We plan on stealing all your MONEY with no integrity whatsoever no honest the Host ** and crime partner Airbnb this account has escalated beyond normal I still don’t have  money

Please don’t make us laugh. Some of us have reached out for MONTHS. Every other day!! They just don’t care! AirBnB has become a billion dollar greed machine! Time to leave it and use other services.
