Hi Airbnb community, I got some problem. A very rich and high class young man from Yew York came and book my place(my apartment is located in small village near to the beach) for only RM115(about USD26 only) pernight. But later he did not like it, he go book a hotel room for RM1,000x2 for 2 night, then he give me very low review and make me look very bad.
He did not take good care of my house, he did not close the room window, so all the dirt came in. i need to clean it alot.
When he arrived till he pass back the key for me, he not even say more then 10 words with me, not even thanks.
But i stil give him good review.
Himself did not read before book, now all the problem he blamed on me. I very kind to introduce him what can do/use and what can not, but he blame all on me. Even shawer he also need auto shawer because i let him know how to use. I did not say got wifi but he blame the house no wifi.
I clean the house and change bed sheet every guest check out, he say my house is dirty because the building look old(like i mention, my apartment is at small village, old building, but i pain and reno all my unit) never have a guest say my place is dirty.
He bring his highclass richman son attitude to judge my little apartment in Village, but i just wonder at the 1st place why he wanted to book my place as he can afford to book a RM1000 x2 hotel.
I also dont know what to response and what to do now..

It is certainly good value, 5 guests for AUD42!!! Extremely good, I think and you cannot expect too much for that. However, though you have some very good reviews you have a 4 for accuracy, so maybe work on the accuracy a bit more in the text? Such as ''Excellent value accommodation, the building is old and a little rough around the edges but the best value in Penang'' or whatever. As long as it is all true, of course. If air con does not work, do not say there is one. If there are no towels, say so. Guesdts will be happier if they know what to expect. But yes, he was not the best guest and I am sorry. You will have better guests soon. I would not respond at all (I can't anymore, the review system has changed, do you still have that option?)
If you are able to leave a public response to his review then just say something like: I am sorry you did not enjoy staying, as so many people have. I do think that given your expectations of luxury and service a hotel environment would be much better suited to your needs than a private lodging. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay.

As for other Hosts and guests, just to clarified this Andrew had booked my place for around RM115 pernight, but when arrived he did not like the place the he go book a 5 star Hotel around RM1,000 pernight for 2 night(RM1,000 x 2). I just wonder in the 1st place why he not book hotel? and also why he did not read my house info before book?
Best be brief, say exactly what @Gerry-And-Rashid0 said. You will have plenty more bookings, don't worry.

hoping we could have the opportunity to host another guest who can appreciate our effort.
Don't worry too much, you have done a pretty good job!
You can always leave a response below their reviews and trust me, you can still get bookings coming in.
And there's one point to note, you can probably be precise in your review so next time another host can take note of his behaviour 🙂
