Canceling a reservation

Hello fellow hosts, I'm in the unusual situation of possibly needing to cancel my own upcoming reservation as a guest in another property. I am a Superhost and know that I cannot cancel a guest booked with me or I would lose my status but can I cancel as a guest and not have my Superhost status affected ? Thanks so much.

Cancelling a visit to another host won't affect your superhost status. It will just mean you maybe liable for cancellation charges and will lose the BnB fee, unless there are exceptional circumstances.

You will be ok to cancel. They won't take away your status for one. Be honest and give the booking your reason! All will be ok!
