Hi Team,
We have been hosting with Airbnb for a good few years now and have a few properties that we host from. We have tried using one of our properties over the summer period but have very few bookings and have realised it is just too much work for our busy family to manage being away from our home etc. In light of this we have opted for a long term rental. I understand that cancelling these guests bookings is unfortunate and very annoying. It is 5 months out from their booking however so should give them time, it may cost them more and those dates are very difficult to find. Is there a way however that by me cancelling it, it wont effect the 5 star rating I have with our other property. We have been dilligent to look after our guests and give very reaonable rates. We have had one other extenuating circumstance where we cancelled and other than that have a successful Airbnb opportunity.
Any ideas...I will give the guests I need to cancel some other possible options
