Should I give up entirely on any honest dialogue with your company? Will it ever be anything more than predatory psychological games?
I got a message today from a regular host in the forums, describing how you did in fact call this host, and this host urged me to cut you some slack. Did you encourage this? Are you mentioning how you are having it rough on forum instead of just calling me as promised *three weeks ago*?
Each of the problems I've mentioned are systematic and by design. Airbnb made BILLIONS of dollars in Net Profit last year, how much of that was by offering rooms and houses you didn't have pay on as promised over and over ?
I *LOVE* how *AS USUAL* Airbnb totally turns the blind eye to everything happening, and then *I'm the bad guy*. For once, ONE TIME, it would be nice not to live under a double standard with Airbnb. When it's even as important as a vacation rental, *Airbnb knows 24 hours is the MAX it should take to respond! When the Actual Head of CS promises to reply, it could be 21 times as long before a reply happens. At this point, if Laura called back today, that's a 21 times longer response time then the maximum allowed by Airbnb. Never mind the fact that I respond to ask inquiries *Within An Hour*! That's over 500 times a faster response than the head of CS department !
But wait, it gets better! I certainly did get a message saying "Oh sorry I haven't got in touch with you yet, been on vacation for Christmas." Insane? As host I'm on call and worked every Christmas and New Year's since I started with Airbnb. Worked every one of my birthdays. Gee I wish I could work bank hours and get paid over 100,000/ year to work bank hours and do nothing useful.
Yeah, no, I have zero faith in Airbnb at this point. Maybe Laura head of CS start by keeping single promise?
Edit: It's actually been over 4 weeks, so even all that crazy math above still 33% worse then it looks, which is bad already.
