Editing of star rating by guest himself ?

Mr. Yoann from France stayed with us on
15 Jul - 17 Jul · in our 3 Beded AC Room-Summer Happiness @ Lucknow.. He gave us 4 stars on overall .. Later he wanted to change it to 5 stars.. but he was not able to do that.. Pl. tell so that he can change... Regards.

This is a frequent occurrence. Airbnb will not allow reviews to be changed after publication.

perhaps all reviews should (hosts as well) not be allowed to be posted until CONFIRMED 1 week later? 🙂

@Abhilasha2  The guest can call AirBnB and on occasion it can be changed, but the guest must call and it doesn't always work.

there is a very good case for reviews to be written and then not published for 1 week. Then the guest has a chance to:
A) calm down
B) re-assess & edit
C) change the review

In reality, reviews/comments/stars are of little interest to the higher echelons! What is wanted is engagement by the guest and the monetization of that information.
