Guest cancelled a week before - will I get money?

hello this is my frist time. i have a guest that just canceled a week befoer they were to arrive. i saw that  air bnb  refunds money  to my account?  that is true? and i will be notified the day they do?

Hi Roxanne. Airbnb doesn't pay hosts until 24 hours after the guest checks in. Since your guests never checked in, there won't be anything to refund to you.

If you chose a flexible or moderate cancellation policy, the guest who canceled will receive a refund of the money they paid when they made the reservation, minus the Airbnb service fee.
