Guest profiles

Hi all, I have a guest who wants to book with me. When I go to their profile there is nothing written there. Surely there should be a write up about them? I see Airbnb says that I will only see their photo once they have booked, but surely they should have a write up on their profile. Am I right? Many thanks

My question is that the profiles aren’t current. My guest profile may say North Carolina but they actually live in another state. I have a guest book that I ask guest to sign. This concerns me because several guest are not coming from the places noted in their profile. Credentials could be inaccurate as well. Thoughts?

This topic really interests me as a host too. This year I have had increasingly less desirable experiences with guests. After 6 years of hosting I’m starting to feel less confident In hosting people. In order for this shared community to work hosts should be able to view guests profiles just as the guests are able to view ours. Can you imagine someone booking a place without being able to see photos reviews and getting to know the host through their profile? I felt much more confident in accepting requests when more information was available. Now I find myself declining reservations based on lack of information. Airbnb please help come up with a solution.

I agree . Seems very unfair that hosts must provide profile photo and the guests don’t.
