I have a guest, she is very nice and came from Spain to see her 16 year old daughter who is an exchange student here. LONG story short, she had to stay longer because the daughter was removed from the Host family (there was issues) and they where trying to find a new one. I feel bad for this mom and her daughter, she asked if she could stay a few days more until they found a new one. I told her yes and we would work something out. She will be 6 days longer than paid. What is a polite way to bring it up? I feel like we have become friends because of the issues she had and needed someone to talk to. But I don't want to be taken advantage of either. Any suggestions on how to start the converstation, so, now we need to figure out what you owe me? I should have had her re book again, but the language barrier has been a bit hard sometimes and when she is upset with the Agency who is in charge of this 16 year old girl, she just gets upset how she has been treated here in this town by this host family. It wasn't a good situation. She plans on leaving in a few days, its just that awkward converstation becuase I am not sure she understood me, we will figure something out, do not worry about it right now.
Thanks
