What's up with guests sleeping atop our comforters?
Our policy is to have the sheets cleaned after each stay; but it is difficult to watch the comforter, and sometimes it requires taking it to the cleaner.
Do guests not shower and just sleep in their clothes they wore from the day?
How can I encourage guests to pull down the sheets and use the cleanest part of the bed?
@Tyler164 I wash EVERYTHING that the guests can touch with their bodies (or luggage) after each stay. We really can not dictate how guests will use the bed.
You might consider a cover for the "comforter/duvet" that can be easily washed.
For guest bedding, simple is best and anything that comes in direct contact with a guest should be washed so I would recommend getting covers than using sheets.
For many people not used to sheets, it's confusing to see so many layers and hard to determine between what and what am I supposed to sleep.
Here a few links to check out that might help 🙂 Bedding configurations, preferences, and what is considered "the norm" vary a lot between cultures, countries, and individuals.
