I communicated with a guest prior to check in, but I didn't confirm the reservation.  The guest has already checked in, but I can't figure out how to get paid for the reservation when the site is showing that this reservation has expired.

If you don't have a confirmed reservation and you have a guest, you have a potential squatter 😞  Actually just have the guest request the booking again, you approve it and then Air BNB will do the rest.  Only possible problem is if the guest's credit card doesn't work.
