I had a homophobic guest. Not sure what to do.

I rent multiple rooms in my house, which I also live.  I had a guest check in an hour later than expected.  It was Valentines day and my Valentine and I were making dinner. Guest left for dinner and then messaged that she was uncomfortable and would like a partial refund.  She never said anything else but it was obvious that she was uncomfortabe with two women having a Valentine's dinner. 

I have a strict cancelation policy and though I never say I am a lesbian in my profile I do state that I have queer cinema on my home theatre among other channels.  

I don't intend to give her a refund.  I'd like to know how to avoid this in the future.

Ive wondered the same. I wouldnt give her a refund just to teach her she doesnt get to be rewarded for being a homophobe. Perhaps introduce "me and my lovely wife" in your description. As a plus youd probably get more progressive people staying with you and less of the "on a budget type". Even though Im gay and would love to host more lgbtq people they dont come by as often as Id like.
