I'm trying to change my payout method but the phone number the system has is an old phone number I no longer have access to. What should I do?

Hello @Karyna0,

You should update your phone number. The number on your profile is given to guests who have confirmed a booking so it would be possible for them to phone you if they have some problem with arrival etc.

It's also useful to have an up to date number registered in case Airbnb has to discuss some difficult situation with a guest with you.

To update your phone number click on your profile photo and then on "Edit profile". Click "add a phone number" and enter your current number. You should then delete the old one by clicking on the X beside it.

When the new number is verified you should then be able to change your payout method.

If the above doesn't work for you you'll have to contact Airbnb.
