Maid2Klean Solicitation via a booking request

I have a request for a booking BUT he is only soliciting his cleaning services as an offer to me.  He is requesting two night stay with me but all the message details are about his cleaning service.  "We are a company that provides cleaning services to Airbnb hosts....."  I do not think he is really requesting accomodations.  I believe he is simply advertising meanwhile blocking my availability.  Is this even allowed?  His name is Kobby from Dallas Texas.  Anyone have advice?  Something similar?

This is fairly common practice which doesn´t have a good solutions. I always respond something like this " In case you are interested in accommodation I am sending you a preapproval in case you are not, I am not interested in whatever you are offering"

I always preapproved and almost always flag them. And don´t, worry preapproval doesn´t block your availability.

@Mia24 Hi Mia, You said you have a 'booking request' from him...is that what you meant, or did he send you a 'booking enquiry'?

If he sent you a booking enquiry, pre-approve him, and if he deosn't want to stay that will scare him away! Your calendar won't be blocked and 24 hours later the whole thing will simply drop off the system.

If he sent you a booking request, now that's different! He would have to pay for that, and your calendar WILL be blocked, so maybe he is on the level and just wants accommodation and is pushing his barrel on the side.!!

If that is the case I would accept his booking request and if it turns out that it is simply a sales pitch he will have to go through the pain of cancellation and loose his service fees!
