Any tips re that very first photo? The one that gets both the upper and lower thirds chopped off.
Given that this is the most important photo I'm surprised that it gets truncated on the main listing page, which potential guests see first, compared to when you open up the photos and can then see the picture in its full glory as it's meant to look.
I considered stepping back a number of steps when taking the photo, in order to get a 'bigger' picture so that when Airbnb cut it, it would then show what I wanted it to show. Unfortunately, that doesn't work well either, because Airbnb's cutting process only applies to the top and bottom of the pic, not the sides.
As you're someone who's interested in marketing, and understands the importance of presentation, do you have any tips on dealing with this issue?
