Missing Property

Hi,

 

I need help. 

 

One of my vases (I have a set) went missing after one of the guests checked out. I always have the vase on the table by the bed. As I clean the apartment before each guest checks in, I am 100% positive it was there when they checked in but now it's nowhere to be found. I've asked them if they have placed it somewhere else. Their responses have changed. First they instructed me to a specific place where they said they placed it (it's not there) and now they say they don't remember.  How do I resolve this? The vase is about $100 although I don't have the receipt.

I think you can't get help like me before. I lost a down duvet. I kept asking the guest but receipt no reply. I contacted Airbnb by emails and phone calls still couldn't get resolve. This case happened about two years ago. I just had another issue again. 😞

 

As a host at Airbnb is quite difficult and get no protection. The guest can walk away and use another email address for identity and rent again. Can a host re-post a new listing after four years with so many good reviews?

 

I wish Airbnb management can see this reply.
