Partial refund of future transaction

I have a guest coming in February 2017 cancel her reservation, my cancellation policy is strict. For a transaction which is months away, doesn't the guest get refunded full amount except airbnb service fee? 

She has requested a refund of reservation fee, which am okay with since I have months to fill in her reservation date, however I would like to clarify when airbnb pays hosts the day after they check-in I am yet to receive payment for this reservation, if I agree to refund will this be deducted from my payout?

There will be no adjustments to your payout as long as you issued the refund before the payout will be released. Airbnb will just get it to your pending payout for this specific reservation.

Thank you Keiden for the prompt response, I clicked on Pay $46 and this is the message that came up-

"We’ll deduct $46 from your next payout and send the money to Theresa."

Hence confused why should this be deducted from my payout when I have not received any payout for this transaction.

And one more thing, the maximum refund that your guest can get is 50% even if they cancel a week or more if you have Strict cancellation policy😊
