Payout Method - stuck on status New (rather than Ready)

Payout Method - stuck on status New (rather than Ready)

I have created a new payout method (PayPal) and yet the status is showing as New, rather than Ready.

When I try to allocate that payout method to a property it does not show as an available option. 

Anyone any ideas?

Hi Keith, 

 

If your payout method is showing New status, it may take 5-7 business days to complete verification. I know PayPal is pretty quick versus other payout methods.

 

Once it completes, it should show Ready status. Then, you should set up any routing rules you'd wish to puruse.

When my co-host was trying to establish his payout method, the process appeared to be working, but almost 7-10 days later, it was still listed as New or Processing (can't remember right now). Payouts were delayed since there was no valid account. In any case, he set up another account at a different bank and it became active in a few days a promised. Payouts were credited once there was a valid account. It may be that there is some type of processing issue with your financial institution. You can try to work it out with the bank or Airbnb, but linking to another bank account was much easier and faster. Good luck!
