Refunding my cancellation fee

Hi all:

We had our house in Florida listed, and had three reservations for it. Then there was a maintenence issue with the house that is causing us to do major repairs. We had to cancel all three reservations, but sent notes to all the guests and they were very understanding. Air BnB charged us $100 in cancellation fees, and I am wondering if there is any way to dispute these charges. The repairs were needed, and completely out of our control.
